Why an independent review matters
Developers, financiers, insurers, and in some cases authorities themselves, increasingly require an independent structural peer review before construction โ a second, unaffiliated engineering team checking design assumptions, load calculations, and drawing coordination against code and against the original design intent. This is closely tied to finite element analysis structural UAE, which many clients need alongside it.
What a peer review covers
Our peer review checks the design code basis, load takedown, member sizing, foundation design, and drawing-to-calculation consistency, and issues a written report identifying any discrepancies or recommended revisions before the design proceeds to construction or resubmission. For the full authority process, see our guide: Structural Engineering Across Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates.
Technical methodology
Reviews are run by engineers with no affiliation to the original design team, checking design code basis, load takedown, member sizing and drawing-to-calculation consistency using the same analysis tools (ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro) the original design would have used.
